Photographer Kristina Vassilieva tells us:
“With the summer sun beyond the horizon and autumn/winter in reign, Pauline Grossen wanders through London’s beautifully wilting parkland. Ablaze with fiery reds, oranges and yellows, the harmonious glow of golden colour personifies the very essence of this rich and vibrant city”.
Stylist Alex-Hester Greenhill tells us:
“My key piece for this series was the over-knee biker boots by Jeffery Cambell for Office, adding a hard edge to the otherwise soft styling.
My intention was to reflect the autumnal colours and textures in the clothes themselves and I had fun layering up furs with wool knits and sequin capes.
Taking a different approach to usual, I drew inspiration from the location with the intention to blend the styling and environment together; creating a seasonal harmony of fashion and nature”.
Make-up and Hair Stylist Julia Wren tells us:
“The look was created to accentuate Pauline’s beautiful, young, fresh skin with the warmth and beauty of the colours of nature to complement the golden autumn leaves. My inspiration was an enchanting vision of pixies and forest creatures.
I used MAC Face & Body foundation, which gave a luminous finish to Pauline's baby soft skin with Shu Uemura loose powder. For the eyes I decided on shades of taupe and enhanced her eyebrows using pencil and powder. A gentle flush to the cheeks using powder blush (in Mocha) by MAC gives the look a subtle radiance. Pauline's lips become the focal point of her make-up. I created this colour blending MAC lip mix shades to create a deep berry shade. To create the matte finish I blotted lips and matted with powder through a tissue”.
